How the service works

Choose the right recovery cloud

Not every workload needs the same destination. We design DR to Microsoft Azure where you are already committed to Microsoft cloud, to dedicated recovery cloud infrastructure where you want it fully managed, or to a hybrid model where the most critical systems replicate locally for the fastest RTO and to cloud for site loss.

Physical and virtual, protected the same way

Physical servers, Hyper-V, VMware, Windows and Linux workloads all replicate into recovery servers held ready in the cloud. There is no requirement to virtualise first and no second data centre to fund.

Networking that is ready before the outage

Cloud site-to-site VPN, point-to-site access for users, IP retention, routing and DNS handling are configured and tested in advance, so failover brings users back to working systems rather than to servers they cannot reach.

RTO and RPO you have agreed and measured

We set targets per system with you, design to hit them, then prove them in test failovers and report the actual measured times. A DR plan without numbers you have verified is a document, not a capability.

How fast can we be running again?

Critical workloads typically start in the recovery cloud within minutes; the exact RTO is agreed per system and verified in testing.

Can we fail over to Azure?

Yes — Azure, dedicated recovery cloud or a hybrid of both, depending on your estate and commercial position.

What about failing back?

Failback is orchestrated and verified by our engineers once the primary site is ready, during an agreed window.

Do we need a second office for DR?

No. That is the point of cloud DR — standby capacity is only paid for when it runs.
